Director of Marketing

Imagine the possibilities of creating and executing campaigns, designing marketing ads, and focusing on community involvement while fulfilling the role of Director of Marketing at Reliant FCU. The credit union is seeking a self-motivated, creative, and outgoing person for the role of Director of Marketing. Qualified applicants will have a two-year college degree along with two to five years of related marketing experience, strong knowledge and experience working in graphic design and video software, ability to maintain strong community connections, leadership, and decision making ability.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the marketing strategy and has an influential role in the development and execution of the marketing budget. Here is a summary of the essentials duties and qualifications.

Essential functions:

• Manage the execution of all media, including advertisements, public relations, announcements, website, social media, brochures, and press releases.
• Develop and manage marketing plan each year that aligns with the Board’s strategic plan.
• Responsible for ensuring members have been notified of new services, change in services, holiday closures, credit union events, quarterly newsletters, etc…
• Develop working relationships with internal departments and an understanding of organizational goals and objectives.
• Responsible for the annual meeting, including the preparation and distribution of the annual report.

Qualifications/Skills

• Ability to creatively plan and execute marketing objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop and InDesign software.
• Proactive work ethic
• Responsible, flexible, and adaptable to changing requirements
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
• Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
• Two-years to five years of similar or related experience.
