Director of Finance

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing the continuous improvements of financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems to best support Filling and Capping operational divisions in achieving their goals. Responsibilities will also include oversight of divisional alignment to corporate initiatives and general accounting standards. This position will report to the VP of Finance, Filling and Capping. The following describes the major duties and requirements of the position. However, more responsibilities may be added.

JOB DESCRIPTION: • Leads the analysis of financial results and business trends for the Filling and Capping business unit. • Drives the definition and consistent reporting of the appropriate set of key metrics and KPIs for the business. • Analyzes financial performance of divisions against key metrics and documents pertinent financial highlights that will drive management decision making. • Leads continuous improvement of financial and operational reporting tools that give insight to the business performance. • Drive adaptation of progressive processes, reporting and analysis tools across the Divisions. • Monitors and enforces policies, procedures, and internal controls according to company policy. • Assists division controllers with budgeting and forecasting. • Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data and comparing to budgets and forecasts. • Contributes to acquisition integration, including consistent adaptation of company policies and reporting processes. • Provides assistance to the VP Finance with implementation of a standard ERP system for new acquisitions. • Supports the VP Finance in a business partnership role to the Business Unit President and Senior Vice Presidents, to continuously improve the organization’s financial performance. • Assists the VP Finance in the leadership, training, development and appraisal of controllers. • Other ad hoc requirements from the VP Finance or corporate team.


Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in a business, financial or related field (finance/accounting degree and/or MBA preferred) • 7 or more years’ (10+ preferred) of progressive experience in manufacturing • International business experience • Excellent financial, analytical and management reporting skills. • Strong Excel and data analysis skills. • Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking. • ERP experience. • Ethical Conduct. • Willingness to roll your sleeves up to get things done. • A demonstrable track record of successfully leading teams and managing business change. • Travel is expected to be 50%
