Director, Information Security

The Director of Information Security is a key leadership role focused on Jamf Information Security vision, strategy, oversight/execution and reporting. This individual will function as the Jamf Information Security Officer, as such, they will define and drive the overall cybersecurity roadmap for Jamf including the fortification of existing enterprise assets, implementation and testing of policies and procedures that enable consistent, effective information security practices which minimize risk and ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information that is owned, controlled and processed within the organization.

The role will have both direct and matrix reporting responsibilities and will report directly to the CTO. This individual will be a trusted business advisor providing education, awareness and guidance to the senior leadership team. Responsibilities

Identify Information security goals and objectives in compliance with corporate governance, regulatory policy and industry best practice

Accountable for security governance, incident response, risk management, vulnerability management, vendor security management and security education

Review and approve the design and implementation of security policies, controls and supporting systems

Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape that could potentially impact company operations and translate that knowledge into potential risks and actionable plans to protect the business

Ensure good communication to the company around our information security plans and execution

Represent Jamf security posture internally and externally as needed, including working collaboratively with sales, support and contracts team to communicate and negotiate information security posture for customer facing requests

Communicate regularly with Jamf senior leadership regarding information security plans, projects and risks

Create a high-performance team culture across a direct and matrix managed information security team

Provide input and manage budget responsibility for information security programs and initiatives

Work collaboratively with Compliance, Risk, Corporate IT, Product Security and Cloud teams to implement information security plans

Identify, assess, monitor and proactively address customer concern areas specifically related to information security

Work as a member of the CTO team on strategic planning and the effective communication of issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance

Mentor and guide information security professionals, including holding performance reviews, suggesting career development activities, and instilling the importance of customer focus and other best practices for those employees

Work in tandem with the CTO to deliver an appropriately secured and protected product that enables Jamf to meet business goals

  • Working knowledge of standard industry information security and privacy requirements Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • 8 – 10 Years’ information technology experience (Required)
  • 5 – 7 Years’ information security/cybersecurity experience (Required)
  • 3 – 5 Years’ experience leading teams responsible for information security strategy and execution (Required)
  • 3 – 5 Years’ of software product information security expertise (Preferred)

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)
  • CISSP or other relevant information security designation (Preferred)
  • CCSP or other relevant cloud security designation (Preferred)
