Digital/Graphic Designer

We are currently seeking a talented graphic & digital design professional who thrives in a fast-paced creative environments to join the Marcus & Millichap team. Our graphic designers work as part of a small team of designers and editors to create high-end marketing materials for our major national accounts.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who adapts well to change and is skilled at prioritizing, multi-tasking, and handling the pressures of deadlines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create a variety of digital marketing pieces using Dreamweaver and HTML/CSS. This includes but is not limited to e-blasts, e-newsletters, digital advertising, website graphics for both internal and external websites. Background with UX experience is preferred.
• Create (print and online), graphics for advertisements, flyers, brochures, books, charts, graphs, illustrations, logos and other artwork as needed based on knowledge of layout principles and design concepts
• Maintaining both visual and written content on firm’s websites and intranet through Content Management Systems
• Works under the guidance of the Creative Director, interfacing with project and marketing manager
• Designs must comply with company brand standards following the Branding Style Guide
• Detail oriented – Must check work for quality on-screen and in print and overall strong proofing.
• Must be able to approve the work of junior designers with the intention of overseeing the technical and design quality of their work.
• Must have a high-degree of digital technical knowledge in order to troubleshoot the work of others.
• Pre-press flight checks and packaging of files for printing
• Must maintain a strong sense ownership and accountability
• Must be highly organized and be able to work within an established system with processes and procedures.
• Video editing – must have the ability to insert Powerpoint slides into a video and do minor editing of video clips.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience in commercial real estate industry preferred
• 5+ years graphic design experience
• Adobe Creative Cloud – Advanced level of InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash , AfterEffects and Premiere
• Strong HTML/CSS skills for coding emails and creating web pages
• Ability to work on both MAC and Windows platforms
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven organization
• Flexible and adaptable – must be able to change priorities as needed
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers as well as build and maintain relationships
• Must be a team player and work well with other designers and project owners
