The Digital Media Designer – Video is a creative thinker, visual storyteller and technically savvy; with a breadth of knowledge across varying types of content and delivery mechanisms. Job Duties/Responsibilities Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for internal The McAlear Group (TMG) events and announcements, and external promotion for all brands Script, storyboard, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects Actively maintains photo and video content from TMG. Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables that match the marketing message and vision Collaborate closely with internal clients to help facilitate the creation of digital content Plan video and photo shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations Develop and maintain production schedule Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating/inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over, media management and archiving project media All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Video Production, or equivalent 3-5 years’ experience in related field Mastery in operating a camera and using editing software such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Experience with various types shooting styles including product imagery, lifestyle, live action, documentaries, interviews, animated illustration, and motion graphics. Experience with preproduction/planning including scripting and storyboarding Possess a strong sense of concept and development, in addition to communication, research, problem-solving and presentation skills Able to collaborate with teams to plan, analyze, organize, and execute projects Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required Ability to successful work in a team environment and collaborate on projects Positive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
