Seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to fill an opening with a leading fleet maintenance, service, and repair company in the Phoenix, AZ area. This Diesel Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles, semi-trucks, forklifts, and heavy duty trailers.

Pay and Schedule of the Diesel Technician:

• 
  Wage: $22.00 – $34.00 an hour DOE.
• 
  Shift: M-F, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Paid Holidays.
• Weekly in-house training held, along with paid certifications and other training received outside of the shop.

Diesel Technician Job Duties:

• Conduct both computerized and mechanical engine diagnostics.
• Complete engine rebuilds, transmission diagnostics & overhauls, and all chassis repairs.
• Ensure that the fleets are maintained properly, on time and stay compliant with DOT requirements.
• Perform all PM services and repairs; track and maintain maintenance histories.
• Work on engines such as Caterpillar, Detroit, Mercedes, Cummins, International, Duramax, Power Stroke and Ford Diesel.
• Work on transmissions such as Allison, Eaton, Fuller, and Spicer.
• Trucks that you will service and repair include Ford, GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Kenworth, International, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Mack, Western Star, Volvo, Isuzu, UD, Hino, Mitsubishi, and Sterling.
• This shop is an ASE & DOT certified facility.

Diesel Technician Requirements/Knowledge:

• 5+ years of Diesel Technician experience.
• 5+ years of preventive service and repair experience.
• Prefer somebody with engine, chassis, electric and hydraulic experience.
• DOT knowledge required.
• Current CDL a plus.
• Experience in computer and mechanical engine diagnostics.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent reliability and a stable work history.
• Understanding of safety rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
