DevOps Engineer / Linux/System Engineer Role

I have a Linux/System Engineer role available, they can also be a DevOps Engineer. This is for Comcast in Philadelphia, PA. This is a yearlong contract with extensions. They will need to come in for a face to face interview. See below for the job description.

Must haves:

– Strong Linux background

– Extensive virtualization experience (vmware, vsphere, vmotion)

– Experience working in a DevOps/operational environment

– Openstack

– HP Oneview/Chef/Ansible/Puppet or similar tool

– Docker/Kubernetes

– 5 years of experience

Additional skills:

-Server hardware operation, administration, management, and provisioning

-Enterprise storage solution design, configuration and management (SANs, fibre channel, iSCSI)

-2+ years’ experience administering Unix operating systems (Red Hat Linux preferred)

-Device monitoring, control and alerting technology (SNMP, syslog)

-Working knowledge of scripting and markup languages commonly used for administration (Shell scripting, TCL, Expect, Perl, Python, YAML

A large telecom provider is looking for an Engineer with strong Hardware experience. We are looking for someone with server hardware operation, administration, management and provisioning. They will be responsible for Enterprise level storage solution design, configuration, and management.
