Device Reliability Lab Technical Lead

You will be joining SEO Stress Engineering & Operation, which is part of CQN Corporate Quality Network and is Intel’s Quality and Reliability organization. SEO is Intel’s leading reliability stress organization. We are a small, professional and dedicated team which works independently and in conjunction with LTD Q&R Logic Technology Development Quality and Reliability and the various Intel’s products teams to develop and implement new reliability stress capabilities which are needed for the development and certification of Intel’s most advanced process technologies. Our stress labs, your next working place, are located at Intel’s Ronler Acres Campus in Hillsboro, OR, at the outskirts of Portland in the beautiful pacific North West. Your role will be a good balance between developments and sustaining activities. On the development side you will own the development of new ways to characterize transistor, memory cells/arrays and other discrete device reliability stress methods. This requires close collaboration with LTD Q&R LTD Q&R and with external vendor to ensure Intel’s current and future processes have the right stress infrastructures such as hardware, software, procedures etc. and are ready on time to enable meeting pathfinding and technology certification milestones. On the sustaining side you will be responsible for projects and investigations to ensure regular production operations are successful. This includes driving improvements in lab data integrity, advanced tool troubleshooting, understanding current POR operations and ensuring new processes are ready to be transferred to operation. This will requires close collaboration with the lab operations team, IEs and other engineers in our team and to role model lab safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

-Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics/ or related field with extensive focus on electrical characterization of electronic materials and devices

-2+ years of proven leadership experience in the semiconductor device industry

-Demonstrated project management skills

-Model based problem solving experience and delivering root cause solutions ISO9001 or 17025 experience

-Very familiar with electrical characterization of semiconductor materials with proven hands on experience in device characterization and troubleshooting of electrical measurements using parametric analyzers, function generators, DMM’s, oscilloscopes, CV meters

-High frequency test experience

-Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing process and its electrical characterization – Sort, E-test and rel data

Preferred:

-Experience working with equipment vendors will be an advantage

-Advanced statistics knowledge with hands on experience using JMP

-LabVIEW experience and certification

-Good programming skills with formal language C, C++, C, etc. and scripting language AWK, PERL, Python, SQL, TCL, VBScript
