Development Engineer

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. The Development Engineer is responsible for development, and maintenance of system software. This individual will ensure that operating systems and related procedures adhere to organizational needs.

  • Execution of Unit testing on solutions
  • Participate in the code review process of development team
  • Ensure data is accurate within the source code repository
  • Proactively communicate to management on the status of projects and deliverables
  • Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems·
  • Ability to adapt to new situations, changing priorities and new applications
  • Ability to grow knowledge on a topic with minimal direction given
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all channels (face to face, email/chat and phone)
  • Ability to communicate effectively peers, subordinates and leaders
  • Ability to listen effectively to team members and customers
  • Ability to work in highly diversified teams with strong interpersonal skills
  • Mentors other resources for process, technical and solutioning practices
  • Ability to anticipate and communicate potential problems while determining solutions
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure but continue to think clearly and provide support or guidance to team members during difficult processes and schedules

  • 5+ Years’ experience with Microsoft technology stack including .NET, SQL Server and IIS
  • 5+ Years’ experience building solutions within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment
  • 5+ Years’ experience with Source Control systems, preferably Git
  • 5+ Years’ experience with HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Typescript, javascript, Bootstrap with Sass, Grunt, Node Package Manager, WordPress
  • Strong technical knowledge in design patterns, .NET development and web development and Microservices
  • Experience in Interactive Design including responsive web design and mobile application design
  • Experience in User Experience Design including wire framing, persona defining and creating user stories
  • Technical knowledge in design patterns, and web development
  • Experience working in Agile development teams
  • Experience using automated build applications, preferably Jenkins
