Position Overview: The Developer role will develop and enhance software for custom applications and services. This roll will be writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices. The developer should be versatile to work across multiple Enterprise Shared Platforms and collaborate with others.

The Developer role will develop and enhance software for custom applications and services. This roll will be writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices. The developer should be versatile to work across multiple Enterprise Shared Platforms and collaborate with others.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

Proven experience in Enterprise level development of an application suite with diverse technologies.

Experience building web-based applications as well as web service APIs – SOAP, REST, etc.

Experience in Agile methodologies

Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, JSON, HTML5

Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and

recommend solutions

Team player with the ability to work in a fast – paced environment

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Job Profile:Related Work Experience:
2-3 years of work experience in procurement or relevant related field.

System Design: Knowledge of system design procedures and the ability to translate functional business requirements into an application system or process to meet the clients’ needs that also meets all relevant Company standards.

Application Development Methodology: Ability to apply Industry standard software development methodologies to application development methods approved by the Company covering the full development lifecycle (e.g., project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support). Ensure solution, software correctness, code quality and consistency of process.

Help maintain and create established coding standards.

Validate code against business and architectural requirements

Conduct code deployment and help in Automatic deployment implementation and configuration

Conducts robust unit testing and provides support for subsequent release testing.

Develop, maintain and provide technical expertise to transfer knowledge, document processes, and create a knowledge base across multiple operating systems and other infrastructure components.

Familiarity with: VisualForce, Apex and Java

Design advanced reporting and dashboards

Understanding of data models and data mining

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong critical and analytical thinking, and problem solving abilities
