Developer, ETL

Summary:

Analyze, design, development, and delivery of data using ETL from operational systems and files into a staging area, operational data stores, data warehouse, data marts and files.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design and develop using Informatica.

• Develop ETL code, workflow, mappings, sessions and job schedules.

• Design and Develop Data Models.

• Develop and maintain new and existing software.

• Translate requirements into programming specifications.

• Code and test new programs and existing program changes.

• Review project requests and recommend actions to be taken.

• Provide night / weekend on-call support for mission critical Informatica processes.

• Assist in training new associates both within department and within business units.

• Complete all required documentation to meet department standards.

• Work with application developers, administrator and infrastructure teams to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Education:

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination or experience and education

Experience & Background:

• Three (3) plus years of ETL development experience on the Informatica platform

• Experience with Informatica Power Center, Power Exchange, IDQ, TDM, B2B, MDM, Data Integration Hub for version 9.6 and above

• Experience with dimensional modeling

• Experience with SQL

• Experience with SQL Server and DB2

• Experience with Job scheduling tools similar to Skybot, Autosys

• Experience with Healthcare a plus
