Eaton Corporation is looking to hire a Designer for the Crouse-Hinds HQ in Syracuse NY.

Position Overview:
This position is accountable for supporting the ECH EP business unit. The focus of the position is to create AutoCAD and Solid works drawings for local assembly operators to utilize in manufacturing control stations, concentrating in NEMA 7 (explosion proof) and NEMA 4 (water tight) products meeting the National Electrical Code. These controls are provided to industry, municipal, commercial and government entities through established NAED electrical distributors.

This position is responsible for providing support to the production/manufacturing team to complete customer orders on time at the highest level of quality. A key responsibility of this position is to assist with the design completion of accurate AutoCAD drawings for installation, operation and servicing of the product produced by CCH manufacturing Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

Experience with creating and interpreting drawings

Experience with using AutoCAD

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SolidWorks

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

Experience with SAP
