CSS is seeking a Textile/Print Designer for our in-house creative department in our Budd Lake, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail and must embrace a highly iterative approach to design, constantly keeping up with the latest industry and fashion trends. We are seeking a team player that is easy to work with, diplomatic and highly collaborative. The Textile/Print Designer will report to the Studio Director while working closely with the marketing & production team.

Key Responsibilities:
Participates in and leads self when assigned projects by presenting well-developed and strategic creative solutions.

Conceptualizes ideas in vector format and takes product concepts through to completion with detailed production files.

Consistently researches, identifies and executes current industry design trends.

Here are some of the skills we are looking for:
BFA in design required with 3-5 related work experience in textile and print design.

Advance knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator and expert knowledge in entire Macintosh platform.

Must have experience in creating repeat prints in Illustrator/vector format; strong understand of printing and weaving processes; and experience in print production files.

Proven ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple jobs simultaneously, and prioritize jobs as needed.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude within a fast paced environment.

Crafting/Gift/Stationary/Fashion experience, consumer packaged goods experience and understanding of product outside of print a HUGE plus.
