Job Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting technical teams developing and trading off hardware/software design concepts that satisfy requirements and constraints, configuration item design, verification of the design using modeling, simulation, analysis and test, documentation through formal reports, drawings and other technical data package items, and communication with the project team, business development, suppliers, industry partners, academia, customers and functional management.

Assignments may include both engineering development and production support roles, which will require a broad knowledge of the technical specialty and the capability to acquire detailed product knowledge in order to safely and efficiently support formal problem root cause analysis, corrective action planning and execution, and identifying test equipment needs.

Work will be performed with supervision of a senior engineer or functional management and guided by policies and procedures. Clear and concise presentation of technical data at meetings and design reviews to peers, management and customers will be required.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering, technical, or science discipline or equivalent experience
