Demand Planner & Inventory Specialist

Demand Planning / Production – Fresh & Frozen

· Analyze demand forecasts and historical sales to confirm required inventory stock levels and monitor age of stock. Organize production planning per country and follow up on executed production.

· Launch and follow up on required new product development items / expedited product development for country of origin flexibility.

· Receive and process all direct shipment purchase orders, including customer service; follow up with plants and sales team for on time shipments.

· Cut all required inventory purchase orders to plants, including daily fresh requirements; maintain and update Open PO Report.

· Coordinate shipment breakdown and urgency with imports coordinator and origin

· Assist with fresh order entry and customer service as needed.

· Must be available after hours as needed to assist coordinating emergency logistics and production issues.

Inventory Management – Frozen

· Prepare all requested inventory reports and analysis, including but not limited to: On Hand Inventory, Surplus Inventory, Distressed Inventory, Shortage Reports, Recall Reports, Inventory Turns, etc.

· Receive all inventory into USA and Canada warehouses. Manage any discrepancies with inventory adjustments and country credits as necessary.

· Manage all inventory in USA and Canada, including monthly reconciliations, adjustments, transfers, repacks, rejections/returns, and damages.

· Coordinate value added USA processing, including stock on raw material, finished goods, and required materials

· Responsible for annual audits/physical year end reconciliations.

· Analyze slow moving items / obsolete inventory and recommend item deactivation

· Analyze pallet configuration and efficiency for warehouse storage and logistics

· Manage item master data and new item creation

Inventory Management – Fresh

· Manage fresh monthly reconciliations, adjustments, and country credits.

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
