E.C. Publications, Inc.
seeks a
DCE Finance Intern – Summer 2017
for the
Finance
department.
Intern will gain insight and knowledge of the Publishing business, with a focus on financials and business management. Under the direction of the Director of Finance, this position will gather financial data to build profit and loss statements for key DC imprints. In addition, the intern will learn to run financial analyses to support DC’s long range plan development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
:

• Gather data to build Publishing profit and loss statements for certain DC imprints.
• Develop key performance indicators to highlight business performance.
• Document data gathering and analyses process for future training.
• Provide financial analyses support in developing DC’s long range plan.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma required.
• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a college or university and working towards a major in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Previous experience in an office or library preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with comic books and comic book history strongly preferred.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints, meet deadlines and contribute to multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• PC knowledge required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong foundation in business, finance and accounting concepts.
