Data Specialist

Data Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (40% telecommuting permitted): Support solution construction, implementation, and system integration. Design, analyze, construct, implement, and integrate system solutions in response to business requirements. Gather information on data creation, capture, storage, transformation, enrichment, cleanse, dissemination, and consumption. Participate in development, packaging, and distribution of solutions. Justify requirements or proof-of-concept for proposals. Utilize data warehouse, data mart, InfoSphere Information Server, Cognos Analytics, SAP BusinessObjects, and DB2 Universal Database (UDB). Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Solution Architect or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing data warehouse, data mart, InfoSphere Information Server, Cognos Analytics, SAP BusinessObjects, and DB2 UDB. $103,000.80 per year. Full time. G433.
