We are the Business Intelligence team at Infusionsoft and we provide key insights into the daily operation of our business and the success of our customers. We’re searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights and trends for the company. This person will provide advice and actionable recommendations back to management as a result of the analysis and metrics built for optimizing or enhancing business performance. Working closely with all the respective business units, this teammate will help understand needs and develop solutions utilizing various business intelligence tools.

Daily Execution Excellence

• Utilizes an advanced understanding of multiple complicated data structures and sources that lead the design, development and implementation of decision support solutions, which will include data collection, business intelligence and data visualization.
• Provide focused analysis of data attributes in order to understand patterns and offer insights that will aid in process improvements.
• Analyze requirements, perform gap analysis from the current state, determine dependencies and risks and derive optimal solutions
• Produce actionable metrics/dashboard and reports that show key performance indicators, identifying areas of improvement in current operations and display root cause analysis of problems using our BI stack of tools, such as SQL server and Tableau.
• Effectively use best practices Data Visualization techniques to paint a very clear picture of the data and findings to the vast stakeholders throughout the company
• Possess the ability to clearly present and communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance.
• Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas.

Expertise

If you can do execute the work, you can do the job. That being said, we realize we likely need someone with the following to really hit the ground running;

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining an analytical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Big Data, Web Analytics, CRM systems
• Experience in operations research, statistical analysis, applied statistics and data mining.
• A good understanding of Data Warehouse principles;
• Experience with one or more analytical tools (R and/or Python)
• Experience in Tableau (or equivalent BI tool) is considered and asset.
• Experience in SaaS metrics, analytics reporting is considered a plus.
• Experience in developing and/or prototyping dashboards and reports.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast paced environment.
• Proven business communication skills for translating stakeholder descriptions into valuable actionable reporting tools.
• Business process design, project management, and/or Agile experience a plus
