Data Integration Administrator

Major Responsibilities:
Planning, design, and enforcement of data integration (Enterprise Service Bus) operational best practices within an enterprise centre of excellence.

Responsible for the promotion of code from development to production environments.

Monitoring and supporting real-time and batch file transfers within agreed service levels.

Monitor application performance, apply application software patches

Ownership of all documentation that supports data integration activities, including an operational runbook that may be used by teams that manage services.

Perform general troubleshooting on all middle-tier related issues and document the solution steps for reusability

Responsible for the testing and deployment of software patches and upgrades of computing resources that support data integration

Preferred Experience:
Familiar with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and standards.

Experience in creating deployment, test scripts and regression testing.

Experience in managing webMethods suite of application

Experience in setting up transmission protocols (http/s, ftp/s, sftp, JMS, LDAP, DNS, SOAP, REST,WSDL)

Experience in with security concepts and encryption methods.

Understanding of concepts around the designing, coding, maintenance and troubleshooting of data integration services.

Familiar with Jira or other documentation and software development tools.

Knowledge of data networking and other infrastructure concepts including firewalls, network ports, and proxies.

Knowledge of a retail or wholesale business models and the operations that support these businesses.

Experience with data integration activities that support ERP systems, including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
