Data Engineer

Project Overview:

Develop and support data pipelines to extract, transform and load data into Google Data Center data warehouse.

Demonstrate outstanding collaboration, interpersonal communication and written skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Overall Responsibilities:

Demonstrate attention to detail, ability and willingness to learn quickly and complete large volumes of work with high quality.

Improve and develop new and existing dashboards supporting business growth.

Develop ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis and studies to answer business questions

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain ETL processes such as workflows, mappings, dimensions, fact and aggregates.

Build SQL Scripts, workflows, tables, and ETL solutions to transform data.

Monitor performance and implement the necessary infrastructure optimization.

Required Skills:

4+ years of solid hands-on experience with SQL, Python and Unix Shell scripting.

Experience with Data Warehousing technologies, and Data Modeling.

Experience building Master Data Management solutions

Hands-on experience with design, development and support of ETL and data pipelines

Strong design and development skills with meticulous attention to detail

Familiarity with Agile Software Development practices and working in an agile environment

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, and proficiency in multitasking

Nice to have Skills (not required):

Experience with data platform and visualization technologies such as Tableau, Pentaho, GoogleSQL, and BigQuery

Experience with data model of IBM Maximo or Oracle Primavera P6 or Enablon

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $58.00 to $87.00 /hour

Experience:

• SQL, Python and Unix Shell scripting: 4 years (Required)
