Data Analytics – Operations

QuEST Global Engineering is looking for an experienced candidate to support Global Operations, Materials Management. This work includes support for three critical areas: SAP Data Analysis, Site Level Material Master, and Reporting on Data Analytics. Support with data analytics is needed across all operations to create one location for all inventory and sales data stored in SAP to enable predictive analysis. Responsibilities include providing analysis of SAP performance data such as “order to ship lifecycle for operations,” diagnostics for Master Data Reporting, as well as reporting of inventory performance, demand variability, delivery performance, and exceptions.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide SAP Data Analysis and Predictive Analysis; facilitate storage of inventory and sales data in one location

·
Provide analytical support on the “order to ship lifecycle” for operations

·
Diagnose issues with Master Data Reporting

·
Report on inventory performance

·
Report on Demand Variability

·
Report on Delivery Performance to Plan

·
Exception based reporting

·
Demonstrated leadership of assigned project(s) in accordance with UPI.

Qualifications
·
BA, or BS in Business Management, Accounting or Engineering, (General or Industrial) with 1-3 years of relevant Materials Management, Forecasting, Master Scheduling, or Inventory Management experience

·
Proficient in SAP

·
Experience with Data Analytics

·
Experience with Materials Management

·
Advanced Excel skills

·
Ability to analyze, assess, and dissect large volumes of data for reporting.

Occasional Shop Floor involvement

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM

Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
