Assurant has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst II!

The Analyst II Data Analytics Information Management organizes and assembles people, process, technology and financial resources to address current and future business data analytics needs to deliver performance outcomes for the shared services areas.

Work cross-functionally with the business users, shared services, Data Services and Data Analytics teams.

Responsibilities

50%: Determine their reporting and analytics needs and serve as a liaison on reporting and analytic infrastructure initiatives
20%: Leverage all Data Analytics capabilities, solutions, data analytics products and best practices to shared services. Provide training if needed to the business users
15%: Be able to build and develop data analytics products by supporting data services and by building report solution as well as the distribution via SharePoint
15%: Identify and support process improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Computer Science or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the fields of insurance, finance, accounting, statistics, or human resources.

Travel/Shift Work

0-30% Travel required depending on the demand of the business.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Accounting Concepts, Basic SQL/SAS knowledge, Project Management techniques, visualization techniques, design thinking, visual storytelling.

Environmental/Physical Demands – Job will include the pressure of tight deadlines. May require extended hours and evening or weekend work. Travel dependent on demands of the business.
