What You’ll Do:

Data Analyst for epidemiologic studies of environmental exposures and children’s health. Working under the direction of the study investigators, the individual will be an integral member of a research team, implementing data management procedures and supporting data analysis including data cleaning, summarizing, and reporting of research data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist study investigators with queries, statistical analyses and reports related to study data
  • Perform data management including cleaning, documentation of quality control and delivering datasets for analysis
  • Use SAS and/or R to assist with data analysis including regression analyses and implementation of machine-learning approaches
  • Opportunity to write and prepare scientific manuscripts and other materials for internal and external audiences

What You’ll Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, data science or related field OR currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in fields listed above plus 2 years of experience in data management/analytics will also be considered
  • Experience in data management of complex data, including data cleaning, quality control and creating analytic datasets and results tables, as well as applying a range of statistical techniques in support of epidemiologic research
  • Proficiency with SAS and/or R programming required. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
