    Summary:

    Eprine Community Services seeks a highly motivated individual to work in our behavioral health department:

    The Intake/Data Analyst, analyzes and presents data in a variety of formats for a variety of audiences, including developing reports, presentations and other documents. This position is integral and work collaboratively with other team members to obtain and manage data and produce statistical analyses. A key priority is to prepare reports and presentations that inform ongoing activities across the organization to monitor and improve the quality of services delivered by the agency. The Data Analyst also researches publicly available data relevant to Eprine’s priorities and initiatives and incorporates it into analyses and presentations to inform planning and monitoring activities. .

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. The Data Analyst is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of department database(s). The position includes the development and design of the database to support the credentialing, privileging, and provider enrollment activities within the department.

    2. The database analyst will continually improve the database performance and capacity in order to improve department processes and plan for future expansions as required.

    3. Administers, maintains, and implements the policies and procedures needed to ensure the security and integrity of the database.

    4. Serves as the Project Manager for any project necessary to maintain and expand the credentialing database and any new databases/applications obtained to support the functions and activities of the department.

    5. Participate in data-related projects, including data normalization, data maintenance, data research, data standardization, data product development, and data quality assurance. Coordinate with Managers and Case Managers on Treatment plans

    6. Work with Department head on Case assignments

    7. Perform data management tasks, including data checking and cleaning, creation and maintenance of data dictionaries for datasets, merging data and creating and recording variables to prepare data for analyses.

    8. Serve as part of any team as needed, in any capacity that is needed.

    9. Assesses gaps and deficiencies in processes and workflows, report them and work with stakeholders to implement optimizations and changes to the system, processes, and workflows.

    10. Assists staff in exporting data for various reports and programs.

    11. Provides feedback, analysis and guidance regarding agency initiatives, optimizations and efficiency improvements.

    12. Work with teams across the organization in achieving Meaningful Use and Client related information.

    13. Running various reports, comparing data, providing feedback and forecasting, comparing and contrasting data to understand trends, areas for improvements, deficiencies, and current status of information.

    14. Attend and present at meetings with the various issues, status reports, and modifications needed. As well as feedback from staff regarding issues and optimizations needed to improve data.

    15. Assisting departments as needed. Including creating cheat sheets, workflows, and other data related tools to understand problems and implement improvements.

    16. Implement a Data Reporting strategy to include, Data Trend Analysis, Ad-hoc reporting and Data-Driven projects.

    17. Providing remote support to and resolving issues as they arise.

    18. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    · Strong Project Management experience

    · Strong information technology knowledge and skills, E H R a plus

    · Microsoft Suite (Excel and Database set up especially)

    · Knowledge of PC and Mac IT capabilities

    · Experience in database management and design

    · Extensive knowledge of working in database tables

    · Experience planning and executing major system projects

    · It is preferable to have a Bachelor’s Degree

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 per hour
