Cyber Security Analyst/Consultant - Inland Empire & L.A. CA

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to conduct risk assessment, design security frameworks and implement regulatory compliance. This position requires strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate detailed technical information in a manner comprehensible by individuals at varying degrees of experience and skill level. The role requires the ability to speak confidently in front of large groups and with corporate management, vendors and service providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide threat counter measures and risk mitigation solutions

· Work with cutting edge intrusion protection and monitoring systems to drive improvements

· Lead incident response teams to contain and eradicate threats

· Lead the designs, develops, implements enterprise malware prevention systems

· Design, builds and implements security network, system and data controls, monitoring and configuration management tools

· Develop and enhance Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) system

· Develop and enhance log monitoring systems

· Develop security gates processes for review and approval of new IT solutions

· Work as a liaison between IT, the lines of business and Information Security to ensure full and complete implementation of security controls, standards and policies

· Lead security-related projects from inception to successful completion and is capable of effectively coaching technology staff on appropriate security protocols and needs as they implement new technology into the organization

· Manage and maintain technical controls and processes for PCI compliance in the systems and applications areas

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physical Science

· A minimum 5 years of application security management experience

· Proficiency in AppSec and Web services security.

· Application development background with CISSP, CSSLP or equivalent certification.

· Greatly Preferred Experience:

· 5 or more years of experience in managing and implementing security principles.

· Permanent residents or U.S. Citizens authorized to work in the U.S. for any employers and without sponsorship required
