Customer Support Spec I – Grade 3

Responsible for delivering exceptional Customer Service by promptly and accurately responding to internal and external customer support requests via email or telephone. Serve customers by determining requirements, answering inquiries, resolving problems

and fulfilling requests while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude. Work closely with al departments to grow and nurture customer relationships to ensure company growth, loyalty and customer retention.

Job Functions

  • Structured call center environment with flexibility on day evening and Saturday schedules is required
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the Customer’s request, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution for resolution and expediting correction, adjustments and follow up as needed
  • Contribute to team and company effort to drive customer retention and revenue by pro-actively seeking and identifying cross-sell opportunities to drive growth and revenue generation while gaining customer’s trust
  • Work closely with team and supervisor to recognize and document requests in order to customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction by completing call logs and reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Flexibility on day and evening schedule as well as Saturday availability is required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years banking experience preferred
  • Previous FISERV experience is preferred and proficiency in current computer technologies including general MS Office
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and excellent and courteous phone communication etiquette
  • Ability to adapt to change, meet the changing demands of the work environment and any delays or other unexpected demands while multitasking
  • Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances including but not limited to difficult customer situations and instill trust in other while upholding the values of the organization
  • Ability to work well as part of a team to exhibit objectivity and be open-minded towards the ideas and views of others, give and receive feedback, contribute to building team spirit, and aid teammates to succeed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
