Customer Service Systems/EDI Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for setting up and supporting technical communications systems and data flow for OR’s customers, sales agents, and internal personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor inbound and outbound EDI documents and SAP I-docs
  • Research validation errors on outbound EDI transactions, fix, and resend as necessary
  • Set up and test new data communication connections between internal applications and external customers
  • Monitor internal and external production data flows between systems to ensure data transmissions are completed in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot errors in the transmissions and transformations of EDI transactions and work with customers to correct the root causes of errors
  • Work closely with IT at OR and Scott Sports to resolve technical issues in communications and implement workflow and mapping logic changes
  • Suggest and implement improvements which enhance the capabilities of the systems supporting OR’s sales and distribution efforts
  • Maintain concise documentation on OR’s data interchange systems and trading partners
  • Act as main technical contact and respond to inquiries from wholesale customers regarding status of their orders and accounts
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the CS Manager and the IS Director

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One plus year(s) of experience working with EDI systems, electronic data transfer and transformation systems required
  • Experience in an SAP environment preferred
  • Must have knowledge of EDI transactions/documents including 850,860,810,856,997,753,754,846
  • Ability to read and understand RAW EDI files
  • Experience with setup, testing, and production support of EDI trading partners preferred
  • Must be able to communicate easily and clearly in English
  • Must be able to legally work for any employer in the United States of America
