The Customer Service Rep I responds to requests from customers via telephone, answering inquiries such as account, driver, vehicle, or card maintenance, billing, and authorizations. The CSRI demonstrates computer proficiency in completing customer requests using multiple platforms and supporting applications.

Responsibilities:
Maintains flexibility in assignments and scheduling to ensure customer service levels are met. The CSRI is expected to meet department expectations for productivity and call quality. Maintains knowledge of Company programs and products and leverages such knowledge to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing time to handle customer issues and perform any necessary follow-up actions. Endeavors to resolve customer issues at first contact, preventing follow-up inquiries or call transfers.

Performs data entry of mail, faxes, and other correspondence as necessary. Ensures quality and accuracy of work. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as necessary.

May work with coaches or training staff to increase product and program knowledge, customer service skills, or other efficiency and effectiveness tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:
High School diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

6 months to 1 year related experience

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Customer Service and customer relations skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Positive, professional attitude

Detail oriented

Ability to adhere to department guidelines for appropriate use of WEX resources, for consistent attendance and schedule adherence, and the WEX Code of Conduct

Successful completion of training and demonstrated proficiency in at least two WEX platforms and supporting applications

Must pass a successful background check
