Customer Service Representitive

Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be supporting the SIG (Systems Integration Group) here at Micron.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer Relationships:

    • Ensure a strong working relationship with customers.
  • Quoting:

    • Respond to Request for Quotes submitted via SEEK with a target of 24 hours for repeat orders, approximately seven days for NPI products.
  • Order Processing:

    • Process sales orders in SAP timely and correctly upon receipt of customer purchase order. Ensuring customer purchase orders are in sync with the provided quote to reduce rework and improve on-time delivery. Enter sales order information in SEEK.
  • Price Management:

    • Communicate and update price changes on backlog/price lists accurately and timely.
  • Backlog Management:

    • In collaboration with Manufacturing Planner’s, ensure the correct amount of product is available or on order for on-time sales order delivery. Ensure sales order changes are entered and communicated in a timely manner. Attend Product team meetings to be familiar with products and ensure products will be available on-time.
  • Advance Ship Notification for Internal and External Manufacturing:

    • Provide ShipDoc’s indicating the Customer ship-to information, purchase order, material number, quantity, serial numbers and special instructions as needed for direct ship to customers.
  • Customer Portals:

    • Respond to customer forecast ship dates and ship notifications for billing purposes. Acknowledge customer purchase orders. Attend customer meetings as needed. Obtain subcontractor packing slips and coordinate SAP goods receipt and shipping transactions.
  • Shipping:

    • Sales Order shipments, direct ship to customers from third party supplier/off-site storage, phantom shipments, storage tag creation, ShipDoc creation and coordinating ShipOuts with PREALERT.
  • RMA Management:

    • Engage with RMA team and Procurement to ensure returned material is processed appropriately and replacements sent to customers as needed.
  • Manual Debits and Credits:

    • Work with Finance to ensure accurate billing/adjustments.

Education/Experience Desired:

New College Grad or 1-2 years of experience in customer relations or sales
