Customer Service Representative/Cashier PT

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:

Under regular supervision, ensures the accurate and timely receipt of payments and revenues for the Parks and Recreation Department, provides clerical assistance to departmental personnel. Operates cash register and prepares various financial reports. Performs a wide range of calculations, enters date, logs information and maintains accurate accounts receivable records. Reports to the Community Services Manager or designee.

Qualifications
Requires high school diploma or GED and one year of experience as an accounting clerk or cashier, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires general knowledge and use of computer and software applications. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word software application through the completion of a skills assessment exercise.
