Customer Service Representative-Garden City, KS

Job Descriptions:
Primary Responsibility:
Americold Logistics is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Garden City, KS facility. This position is responsible for all interaction with customer contacts and performing daily CSR functions.

Essential Functions:
Order management; manual order entry, EDI order audit, verification of ship date utilizing established sailing schedules.

Maintain established response times for phone, email, fax and EDI communication.

Processing and analyzing established reports to ensure shipping and receiving accuracy.

Order exception management; order changes, rush/late order processing and tracking, OS&D resolution.

Create, monitor, and maintain customer product master file to ensure billing accuracy.

Support new customer set up and rate change process.

Provide training to customers when required with regards to company owned systems.

Attend individual and team meetings and training as requested.

Monitor individual productivity levels and identify and escalate possible process improvements.

Cross train on team accounts to ensure team service levels are met.

Other duties as requested.

Required Experience:
Qualifications/Additional Skills:
2 years customer service experience. Experience in transportation or warehousing industry preferred.

Team player and morale builder.

Excellent time management skills.

Basic computer literacy.

Comfort using the phone.

Outstanding communication skills and knowledge of communication etiquette.

Excellent at working with difficult customers.

Competent in basic math & basic reading comprehension.

Good analytical skills.

Basic 10-key skills with high data entry accuracy.

Excellent problem resolution and follow-up skills.

Knowledge & Employment Standards:
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task required.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Demonstrates uncompromising level of integrity and code of ethics and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
