Purpose:

A Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles customer complaints, processes orders, and provides information about Lincoln Electric products and services. The CSR has primary responsibility for ensuring the customer needs are met by responding directly or calling on other departments for assistance.

Job Description:

• Order Processing
  • Enter new orders
  • Manage orders from order entry to shipment
  • Assist other entities on expediting
  • Continuous improvement process (order issues)
  • Assist Finance Team with information related to given account
• RMA & Warranty Claims
  • Process RMA’s and warranty claims
  • Expedite RMA’s not returned
  • Assist Non Conformance Team with RMA log
• Other
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Identify performance shortfalls and suggest improvement
  • Understand and apply the fundamentals of systematic waste elimination
  • Process shipping requirements
  • Ensure proper compliance activities on international orders
  • Listen and respond to customers’ needs and concerns in a professional manner
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in Customer Service
• 4 year college degree preferred
• Excellent knowledge of PC’s and Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP experience a plus
• Excellent phone and communication skills
• Experience with multiple phone line management
• Must have experience working successfully in a team environment
