Contract Customer Service Representatives

Duration: 6 Months

Client Location: Fortune 500 Company in Herndon, VA

Work Schedule: Customer Service Representatives are required to work flexible hours. Customer Service hours of operation are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for entering a high volume amount of credit and debit transactions in SAP where speed and accuracy are required.The Customer Service Representative is the primary interface with our customer in all matters related to inquiries, orders, product availability, warehousing, shipment status, invoicing, commercial documents and all other customer service related items for the sale of paint, paint related products and paint support systems.

  • This must be accomplished in a way that shows the highest regard for safety and a respectful work environment.
  • Close interaction with Warehouse Supervisors, District Sales Manager, Field Sales Reps, and other Business personnel is important to insure uninterrupted shipments of material and ultimately, customer satisfaction.
  • Responds to customer issues that require product knowledge, interpret questions/requests and ensure proper resolution in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • May initiate customer contact to proactively identify and address customer needs. Monitors the resolution process to ensure other departments follow through on requests

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Strong computer skills, accurate typing and keyboard stills a necessity.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Fast paced environment, large amount of data entry.
  • Candidate must be customer focused and possess very strong interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external customer demands.
  • Strong computer skills, basic math, accurate typing and keyboard skills are a necessity.
  • They must possess the ability to listen as well as communicate information in a clear, courteous, concise, and logical manner.
  • Good decision making, problem solving and analytical ability skills are needed.
  • The CSR must have initiative and the ability to follow through with attention to detail; organizational skills are a must.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess time management skills with the ability to set priorities and maintain project goals.
  • Must possess team working skills to work well in a group environment in ways that their work together is efficient and productive.

Additional Information:

  • This individual must be a self-starter, demonstrate initiative and the ability to follow through with attention to detail.
  • Customer Service Representative is held accountable for performance in areas of productivity, quality, phone skills, and the customer perception of service.
  • As the CSRs skill level develops they will be pulled into project work and have additional responsibilities added, such as District team work (BIPS and Free good orders) SOX reporting, OMS & EDI monitoring.
