Customer Service Rep

Customer Service Representatives (Teller) are the face of our company and represent First Security Bank in the community. The role of the Customer Service Representative is to be welcoming, build rapport and provide outstanding service while performing
account transactions. Position possesses the product knowledge to cross-sell online banking services and to refer customers to other bank products. Promotes increased customer use of bank products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Position complies
with all banking laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The FSB Way: Exceptional CSRs constantly go the extra mile to greet customers and make them feel welcome. CSRs must be able to conduct effective customer connections that will result in an appropriate warm handoff and asking for the customer’s business.

TEAM: We want people who pitch in and help others without being asked and want team members who are committed to the success of the team. CSRs work in conjunction with their supervisor and Branch Manager/Operations Manager/Branch Administrator, to support branch
goals and initiatives. They support the team by actively and enthusiastically participating in branch/bank events.

Products and Services Opportunities: CSRs engage customers to learn about their financial needs, introduce customers to new products and services, and generate leads for other members of the sales team to close.

Processing Transactions: CSRs are proficient at completing all customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner, while exhibiting patience, attention to detail, and by following guidelines and procedures.

Perform duties related to branch capture by scanning work and completing appropriate paperwork.

Education: CSRs develop and improve their skills through training programs and regular feedback discussions with supervisors, which will help further their professional development. They also participate in all training sessions and complete all assigned BVS

compliance courses.

Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Requirements

Experience/Education:

Experience providing excellent customer service is required. A high school degree or GED is required. Cash handling experience is preferred. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

Position is part-time, 30 hours/week and is a float position based in our Downtown Branch. Starting rate of pay is $12/hour with increase to $12.50/hour after six months; excellent benefits. Applicants must be available to work shifts between 6:30 a.m. -6:15
p.m.., M-F and Saturdays (typically 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.).
