Responsibilities

The primary function of this role is to help manage the Credit Review program cycle. Responsibilities include working with the Credit Review Examiner in Charge, Assistant Examiner in Charge and Credit Review management on all program matters. The role is charged with developing Unit Review samples, reviewing loan documents, compiling and analyzing exam results and providing significant assistance drafting the report for each exam. This person will also engage with Group Heads, Unit Heads, and Senior Portfolio Managers of each Unit Review as circumstances arise.
Tasks:
  • Compile data from various databases and use advanced excel functions provide data analysis and management necessary for Unit Reviews
  • Review loan documents for consistency with credit approvals and adherence to Credit Policy
  • Report weekly progress of Unit Reviews
  • Create various charts used for writing Unit Review reports
  • Maintain a database to capture key metrics for testing Unit’s adherence to Credit Policy
  • Perform a monthly follow up with Units on outstanding recommendations and credit designations
  • Inform the team on any updates to Credit Policy prior to each Unit Review

Qualifications

This role requires a motivated individual who understands the importance of meeting deadlines and adhering to policies, procedures, standards, and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (1-3 years of banking/finance experience preferred)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Proficient with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
