Credit Associate Loans

Position Description

As a part of the Dealer Credit team, the Credit Associate is responsible for providing support to the Operations Manager and Loan Analysts in Credit Administration

Job Responsibilities

• Pre-closing loan preparation, request title commitment and zoning compliance from title company
• Verify compliant insurance, request Certificates of Good Standing, run Bridger’s on wires day of closing, prepare New Loan Set-Up Sheet (NLSU)
• Update ROM, CARRS, INVREV, DEALER and SALESFORCE databases
• Verify new loan set-up in Dealer Loan website
• Prepare welcome letter for borrower and send out with copies of loan documents
• Review commitment packages provided by Ally Bank after loan approved
• Obtain Ally Bank approval to disburse via wire, check of Smart Cash

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 + years’ experience in financial services or similar industry. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for the experience.
• Performs clerical, administrative and technically based activities and/or supporting tasks
• Typically requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Intermediate written and oral communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
