The Credit Analyst II role reviews credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customers in order to support sales and minimize loss. The analyst sets credit limits of up to $50k using defined credit guidelines by using credit reports, customer payment history and other specific customer data. The analyst is also required to make recommendations for orders exceeding $50K, provide timely and accurate communication of credit issues as they arise, create viable solutions to credit challenges and demonstrate Best in Class customer service on every customer interaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Review accounts placed on credit hold and decide the most appropriate course of action according to credit guidelines.
  • Perform credit reviews on new and existing accounts.
  • Answer inbound calls and contact customers for delinquent payment.
  • Perform follow up on orders on credit hold.
  • Respond to customer email inquiries and work collaboratively with other team members to resolve customer disputes.
  • Leave less than 10 orders in credit queue each day.
  • Credit reviews are completed with >90% quality.
  • Provide Best in Class Customer service of 90% or higher.
  • Manage phone responsibilities according to department requirements.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
  • Assist with coverage as needed.
  • Work at least one night/week on late shift from 11:30am to 8:00pm.
  • Assist with identifying issues and provide suggestions for improving efficiency.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and how details fit into the big picture.
  • Have a passion for continual learning about the promotional products we support.
  • Above average communications & listening skills.
  • Saturday/weekend work required as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business to business credit which involves setting credit limits for commercial accounts and evaluating credit risk.
  • Direct interaction with customers.
  • Demonstrates the adaptability to work independently, but also with a team.
  • Strong MS Office skills to include: Word, Excel & Outlook.
