Credentialed Medical Assistant 1

The Credentialed Medical Assistant 1, is responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician. The Credentialed MAs prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment. A Credentialed Medical Assistant prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens. As well as entering diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider (LIP).

Required Criteria

Certification : Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant

Minimum Pay Rate: $14.42 per hour (credit given for related work experience)
