About the Team:

The Creative Strategy team is part of Yahoo! Sales’ Client Services
organization. We develop and optimize the
“creative” for advertisers
running Search and Native campaigns on Yahoo Gemini. Things we love: killer
click-through rates, skyrocketing conversions, constant learning, great

About the Role:

Creative Strategists are specialists when it comes to Search and Native
advertising, experts in identifying relevant keywords, creating and testing
effective ad copy and images, selecting appropriate landing pages, and targeting
the right audiences – all to maximize our advertisers’ ROI. We’re always pushing
the limits of how digital marketing can be used to achieve client success.
Along with our Sales counterparts (Account Managers and Account Directors),
Creative Strategists are individual contributors who act as a key resource for
Yahoo’s most valuable advertisers in planning and implementing their digital
marketing campaigns. We love our advertisers and work hard to ensure their
success and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
·
Work independently to identify and prioritize opportunities
for improved campaign performance and growth across a set of Yahoo’s highest
value Search & Native accounts, from the Mid-Market to the world’s largest
brands.

·
Communicate directly with advertisers at all levels of their
organization to promote behavior that grows spends and also ensures long-term
client success. This can include daily interaction via phone and email, as well
as quarterly presentations in-person.

Partner closely with Account Managers and other internal
team members to provide best-in-class service to clients.

·
Demonstrate expertise with respect to policy guidelines and
marketing best practices in at least one core industry category.

·
Participate in ad-hoc projects including development of best
practices, new analytical techniques and industry-specific insights.

Qualifications:
·
BA degree in
Marketing or a related field

·
Demonstrated experience providing strategic marketing advice
either within a company or as part of an agency.

·
Strong understanding of digital marketing (including PPC and
Native) and best practice campaign management, and a drive to stay up-to-date
on cutting edge industry trends.

·
Ability to write
copy in a way that translates client marketing objectives into highly
effective, error-free ads.

·
Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through
the use of analytics, category expertise and critical thinking

·
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an
ability to “think on your feet”.

·
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word
and PowerPoint)
