Creative Designer

Creative Designer – (180001JR)
As a member of the CWT Global Brand team, the Creative Designer is part of the creative team (The Studio) that delivers campaigns with strong digital touch points, providing content strategy and execution on a variety of mediums. Primarily responsible for supporting the creative Pods of the Studio with design work, key visuals, banners, sales presentations, infographics.

Main responsibilities & duties:
  • Design expert and consultant:

    • Use creative skills to produce smart, engaging and edgy visuals to support internal and external customer needs.
    • Manage production of assets and placement in relevant channels, with an emphasis on content suitable for digital formats and distribution via social media.
    • Gather requirements from the requestors focusing on the business goals vs. ‘just” the deliverable. Recommend the best approach to meet the business goal from the requestor.
    • Develop, foster and manage relationships with outside creative agency contacts as needed.
  • Brand advocate:

    • Work with stakeholders on brand and design initiatives, with the goal of increasing awareness within target audiences.
    • Implement and progress the company brand and manage how it is presented in materials to ensure proper articulation and consistency of the company’s desired image and market position.
    • Educate on and implement brand guidelines.
  • Project manager:

    • Work closely with stakeholders to create digital materials and assets to support international and regional campaigns.
    • Ensure high-quality materials are consistently being delivered to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with other stakeholders (including external suppliers) linked deliverables, propose realistic planning and deliver on planning and agreed deliverables.
  • Team projects:

    • Actively participating in any global marketing services team initiatives assigned.
  • Miscellaneous:

    • Performing all duties & responsibilities in a timely & effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
    • Seeking out opportunities to build strong internal client relationships.
    • Projecting a favorable image of Carlson Wagonlit Travel and displaying a positive attitude.
    • Keeping immediate superior promptly & fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance, takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
    • Performing other duties & responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, graphic and digital design, and/or relatevant work experience
  • Experience in marketing, branding and/or creative design roles;
  • Experience with layout, image, photo and video editing
  • Experience managing projects from inception to production
  • Proficiency launching digital campaigns
  • Experience with creating engaging content for social media
  • Good knowledge of branding and design trends
  • General culture and appreciation for all forms of visual arts
  • Experience working in an international environment, across cultures, a definite plus
  • Must be willing to travel
