Creative Design & Multimedia Specialist – York – FT

General Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Creative Designer, provides creative design services and project management for multimedia and print communications

Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Films video footage for various marketing and public relations uses. Utilizes video editing software to edit, add graphics, animations, voice-over or music background.

2 Explores and coordinates new and emerging areas of multimedia design and communication. Interacts with other departments/entities in developing, designing and implementing multimedia communication programs.

3 Responsible for the graphic development of e-marketing materials and activities to support the Marketing Communications team. Deliverables may include email blasts, e-survey development, e-newsletter development and posting of YouTube videos.

4 Takes photographs for use in system initiatives, such as advertising, website and social media.

5 Coordinates the design, layout and production of health system marketing, instructional and collateral materials including brochures and other special purpose printed materials. Works closely with the client and manager regarding concept and theme.

6 Creates web graphics and page design for the System’s internal and external web sites and ensures adherence to the brand standards and style guides.

7. Supports system meetings and other live event with the development of presentations, motion graphics, video and multimedia assets.

8. Creates and maintains graphics, logos and templates in accordance with established brand guidelines.

9. Coordinates customer service and production for assigned projects. Counsels the client on format, level of support, production timelines, corporate standards and related considerations. Works with photographers, service bureaus, printers and support vendors.

9. Assists in the maintenance of brand assets (Digital Assets Management System) on WellSpan servers. Continuously explores methods to improve access and distribution of branded assets to WellSpan employees.

10. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards

11. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.

12. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA purposes:

14 Assists in developing budgets.

15 Assists with video production, teleconferencing, displays/exhibits and other departmental functions.

16 Responsible for recommending A/V equipment and software to enhance the capabilities of PR & Marketing, and for the care and maintenance of related department/entity equipment and supplies.

17 Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.

18 Attends meetings as required.
