CREATIVE DESIGN INTERN – JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Creative Design Intern

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Compensation: Hourly minimum wage

JOB SUMMARY:

Creative Design Intern will work with the Creative Director & Senior Graphic Designer in designing and producing web and print content for multiple departments. Help support overall look and feel of company’s visual aesthetic and brand by using already established templates and guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Marketing & Business Development Materials
  • Design / layout for various CID Entertainment Biz Dev materials, working with Biz Dev & Marketing on content where appropriate, including but not limited to:
    • brochures
    • one-sheets
    • powerpoint decks
    • marketing plans
    • operations plans
• Project Based Creative Items
  • Design / generate various items needed for ongoing and one-off projects including but not limited to:
    • brochures
    • maps
    • parking passes
    • signage
    • amenities sheets
    • welcome letters
    • laminates
    • merchandise
    • web graphics and social media banners
    • post cards / flyers
• Guest Services Outreach HTML Emails
  • Format HTML emails for events
• Website Maintenance
  • Update current event pages
  • Design headers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available at least 3-5 days a week
• Technical Skills
  • Moderate skills with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Familiarity with Dreamweaver a plus
  • Moderate skills with MS Office especially Power Point
  • Knowledge of FanMail (and/or similar email marketing programs), Filemaker a plus
• Interpersonal skills
  • Must have a high level of energy, be a self-starter
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be a creative thinker
  • Ability to deal with all levels of associates within the organization
  • Ability to liason between print and paper vendors for production purposes
• Design Skills
  • Portfolio/work samples showcasing distinct design skills
  • Photo manipulation skills for executing digital concepts
  • Detail-oriented, strong proof reading, and an eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, etc
