Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Communications Content Manager will help drive positive engagements with a broad range of internal audiences to support the company’s strategic growth objectives. The position will serve as project manager and individual contributor, collaborating across all levels of the company to deliver best-in-class internal customer communications.

Responsibilities:
Strong writing background with the ability to conceive, research, and write compelling and accurate messaging.

Identify, draft and develop editorial content for multiple purposes including employee campaigns, executive communications, internal and external web content, speeches, articles and presentations.

Collaborate with broader Communications team to help develop overall strategy and implement communications initiatives.

Manage corporate-wide intranet and develop writing and content standards.

Coordinate and manage editorial calendar and content across segments and functions.

Execute and manage ongoing internal communications campaigns working closely with subject matter experts and leaders.

Develop storyboards for video productions.

Generate ideas for supporting graphics and visual representation of editorial content.

Support multiple projects at the same time, while meeting aggressive deadlines.

Establish solid relations and trust across all levels of the company.

Assist with companywide internal social media efforts in collaboration with communicators from business segments and functions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field.

5-7 years of corporate communications, public relations agency or journalism experience.

Experience meeting and working against deadlines in an often demanding environment.

Experience developing, planning and directing various types of internal communications initiatives to completion, with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:
Strong communications instincts.

Excellent writing, editing, verbal and presentation/design skills.

Extensive internal communications experience.

Experience building and/or managing company intranets.

Outstanding project management skills.

Client-oriented, with ability to work closely with key company partners and communications liaisons.

Demonstrated ability to contribute strategic thinking, to influence others and to work collaboratively in order to produce results across multiple functional teams.

A strategic, results-oriented mindset with ability to provide regular hands-on support.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-level priorities.

Leads small cross-functional teams in a supportive/collaborative team environment.

Grasps and translates important business, market and management concepts into understandable messages and stories.

Technical skills – Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
