Corporate Accountant

Buzz’s marine of Kearney is seeking a qualified candidate to perform multiple accounting functions. This professional position requires a minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Month-end and year-end close

• Year-end audit

• Accruals and pre-paid expenses

• Maintain fixed assets/leases (book/tax)

• Investment accounting

• Payroll and payroll related journal entries

• Bank account reconciliation

• Maintain general ledger

• Various balance sheet account reconciliations

• AP processing/review

• Prepare financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger

• Other duties or projects within the accounting department as required
