Coordinator – Marketing

Job Summary:The Role:
As a member of the Live Nation Connecticut marketing team, your job is to provide multiple levels of marketing support to the local marketing team, including the marketing of live events within the region. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to learn all aspects of the live music marketing world.

Responsibilities:
Development of marketing and promotional plans for assigned Live Nation events within the Conneticut business unit including radio, television, print, outdoor, digital and grassroots marketing efforts.

Manage media partnerships for assigned Live Nation events, including promotional and increased value support.

Execute promotional efforts for assigned Live Nation events

Help to manage multiple social media

Pursue new social media platforms for additional event coverage

Compile advertising settlement packages for assigned events

Review assigned event invoices for accuracy and approve for payment

Track and distribute all promotional tickets used for concert contesting for assigned events

Coordinate grass roots level marketing campaigns using retail, street teams and local media partnerships for assigned events

Work with Live Nation graphic design team on creating collateral for show promotion, including but not limited to digital and street team needs

Manage on-site marketing needs for assigned events, including media and contest fulfillment

Execute day to day tasks as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

1-2 years experience with digital and social marketing

Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure

Ability to take initiative, problem solve and perform research

Knowledge of the principles of target marketing

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of concert promotion and live event business a plus

Some travel may be required
