CONCRETE PAVING FOREMAN

Concrete Placing Company is looking for talented, hard-working individuals to build highway projects. We are based in Boise, Idaho, which is a great place to live. Position

We seek a Foreman for interstate and airport paving. The primary responsibilities for this position include the set up and break down of the paving equipment, oversee the daily paving operation, ensure the necessary prep work is in place, perform and oversee basic equipment maintenance, keep the necessary records required by various public agencies, and safely operate the concrete paving equipment necessary for completion of the project.

The Paving Foreman supervises a crew of five to seven depending on project size while coordinating delivery of concrete with the Plant Foreman.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 3 years of concrete paving experience or technical training or related experience. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of concrete, paving, heavy equipment, methods, and safety is a plus.

The Company

For over 40 years, Concrete Placing Company, Inc . has built projects such as local roads, intersections, interstate highways and airfield paving. We work in the western United States, primarily Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Montana.

Our work requires travel but we strive to have our people home on weekends. Most of the work is prevailing wage paying $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. For projects that require an overnight stay, the Company will pay a per diem or reimburse the cost to stay out-of-town. We compliment the pay with a benefit package that includes paid vacation, 401(k), profit sharing, and health insurance including vision and dental benefits. We can help with relocation expenses. The job is not seasonal.
