Computer Science Co-op

This temporary co-op position is in support of multiple projects within IMCS Software Engineering.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks and deliver the products and services outlined below:

• Shadow software developers during day-to-day operations, participating in the Agile/Scrum development process.
• Work with staff to clarify business requirements and customer needs through evaluation and revision of Change Request and User Stories assigned to projects.
• Assist development teams in designing, implementing, testing and deploying software applications for Sitecore and .NET projects using, HTML, JavaScript, C#, Angular and other coding methodologies utilizing Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, IBM Maximo, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Bamboo.
• Work with Data Center Operations, Data Base Administration, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Managers to understand, participate in, and improve upon the software development lifecycle.
• Research, report on, and participate in the evaluation of new technologies.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be familiar with software development practices and technologies. The candidate must be enrolled in a computer programming or computer science 4 year degree program and maintain a 3.0+ GPA.

Applicant selected must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) and will be subject to successful completion and adjudication of the required U.S. government security investigation.
