Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator will support internal communications efforts for the organization and an extensive portfolio of spirits brands which helps promote corporate and brand identity.

Role Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Marketing discipline

1- 2 years work-related experience

Position Responsibilities:
Preparation and dissemination of internal communications pieces including organizational and departmental materials

Management of materials for Heaven Hill Intranet including content development

Management of Heaven Hill Corporate website

Manage digital asset management systems for deployment of training, sales and marketing materials

Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with contacts throughout the organization

Maintenance of communications files and materials

Support of Heaven Hill Community Relations efforts

Support overall Heaven Hill Corporate Communications efforts

Essential Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology

Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks on deadline, and a desire and ability to work in a team environment

Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing applications

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and experience with SharePoint

Knowledge and experience with InDesign and Photoshop applications

Knowledge and experience with Internet applications
