Communications Analyst

Humana is seeking a Communication Analyst who will provide a presentation of accurate, coherent, succinct, purposeful messages that are aligned with company vision is a critical component to a business strategy. The Communication Analyst contributes to the success of Humana’s business strategy by collecting broad based information, gathering resources and data in order to develop comprehensive communication strategies and material.

The purpose of this position is to support Humana’s Workplace Solutions Communications strategy. Workplace Solutions manages Humana’s real estate which makes up over 600 locations (over 8MM square feet of space), space types includes administrative offices, call centers, medical centers, retail sites, and pharmacy distribution centers. Our goal is to provide the perfect experience for our customers in the delivery of solutions to the workplace, the management and delivery of communications through various vehicles is critical to delivering on this goal. This role will create communications to support a variety of facility based projects such as project updates on new construction / renovations, space relocations, facility upgrades and general facility newsletters. This is a fast paced environment and we’re looking for creative minds that can help with our messaging by delivering accurate and up to date information to our internal customers.

NOTE: A writing sample is required for an onsite interview.

Qualifications

Role Essentials

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field

Excellent communication (oral & written) and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and create communications that achieve business goals

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and implement projects/campaigns

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Experience working with clients to deliver solutions that meet their needs

Experience in a results-oriented marketing and communications environment

Flexible and able to move quickly on content development.

Role Desirables

3-5 years of experience in marketing or communications related field (marketing leadership, project management, business strategy, etc.)

PR agency experience preferred

Experience with graphic design applications, including Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

Established portfolios is a plus
