Full Job Description

Summary

Collect and analyze large amounts of data and financial information from varied sources and compose into clear and concise reports for review by management and committees.

Experience and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and 3 or more years experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst in the Banking Industry
  • OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related field.

  • Strong financial analysis skills. Must have verifiable experience with interpreting and analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills (particularly in mathematics).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritizes work in an organized manner.
  • Excellent intra-organizational communication skills.
  • The candidate must be able to effectively analyze, consolidate, and communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing.

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Presentation of investor package for review by management and committees.
  • Assemble, record and maintain all credit file data in an accessible and organized manner.
  • Documents and performs due diligence on increases to existing client facilities.
  • Work closely with Senior Management and Marketing Team support sales efforts and retain client relationships.
  • Conduct post approval audit of new and existing clients.
  • Track client peer performance using industry data and compile into reports for Senior Management.
  • Gather and assemble client base production statistics into meaningful information for portfolio tracking.
  • Monitor adherence of day to day business activities to established policies and procedures
  • Update policy and procedures to reflect changing business practices.
  • Coordinate and assemble information as needed for regulatory examinations.
